Ahmir Mitchell is set to announce his college choice today at 5:00pm. He is down to Ohio State and Michigan, however, he has thought to be leaning toward the darkside. Can Urban and company pursued him to join the good guys?

Click here for a recap of his visit to OSU back in March.
Edit: I'm not sure what everyone is upset about. A 'Boom Watch' by no means will be a Boom for OSU for sure or it would be a 'Boom' and there would be no reason for the 'Watch' part. As I mentioned (both above and below) Mitchell will likely choose Michigan. If he picks UM as expected then we see the #90 ranked player commit to The B1G and the darkside. (Am I the only one interested in recruiting for other schools especially when it comes to both The B1G and UM? Not to mention OSU is actually in his final two no matter what people say of his offer...) If Mitchell pulls a shocker and commits to the good guys, it wouldn't be the first recruit (or even second or third for that matter) that was widely thought to have a "noncommittable" that then committed on what was actually a committable offer (ask Tracy Sprinkle about his offer that everyone, included the most reliable writers at that time, said was noncommittable). Either way there is either a shocker Boom for OSU or an expected Boom for UM with a player that is very talented, that OSU will be seeing for years to come and also seems to already know the Rivalry is all about. If his offer truly is uncommittable then he is really wants a committable OSU offer (which he likely wouldn't be committing today if he wanted it so bad, but couldn't commit) or he is trolling OSU fans with tweets like these (Click Here for the thread with even more tweets then below if you wish):

There are some that think if OSU misses out on the likes of Sam Bruce (Miami commit), Donnie Corley, Nate Craig-Myers, Devin Duvernay, Javon McKinley, and Binjimen Victor they may go after Mitchell hard again with a committable offer. There are just too many variables and reasons here for me not to want to watch even with the very low possibility of him being a Buckeye today. (I bet most all writers that say he is going to Michigan for sure [with or without a committable offer from OSU] will still be watch this Boom to see where he goes today.) It always peeks my interest when these recruits (especially a top 100 ranked recruit) have OSU in their final two, especially when the other school is UM and throw in that they visit both schools multiple times and seem to really like both schools. It interests me even if one school supposedly has offered an "uncommittable" offer. Worse case scenario you see a highly touted recruit go to both The B1G and The Rival and it's still worth watching for me. I apologize to all of you for wasting your time and thinking that you had the same interest in where he'll go as I do. Sorry, I should have known better...I'll watch this one on my own!
