After digging around 247sports for a little bit i was pretty surprised to see how poorly we have kept our top in state talent in basketball (since 2011, OSU has only gotten any of the top three players in Ohio twice) and consistently let the number one player in Ohio head elsewhere (since 2008, OSU has only landed the number one player in Ohio twice). I believe both of these trends end in 2016 as Ohio is loaded with talent headlined by 5 star V.J King who is currently crystal balled to OSU 87%. Landing King would be huge for OSU and the future of instate recruiting at OSU as I for one am tired of watching Ohio's best take their talents elsewhere.
