On The Beat episode Austin and Birm were talking about the camp yesterday and seeing the current players for the first time since spring.
Raved about Devin Sanchez just how much more developed he looks, physically like an NFL veteran. Grown man. All about his business.
Said coaches told them before camp about how much Epi has changed physically and they were other like yeah yeah then when they saw him they were like Holy S he's a totally different person. Birm says he was shook. Says he's about 270 and looks like he could be a 3 tech but were told that wasn't happening. Said even though people are skeptical that Beau Atkinson looks really stout and Birm said worries about DE depth disappeared after seeing them and the work they have put in this off-season
Earl Little was leading players in workouts said he is super high energy. Still has a protective sleeve on his leg from surgery. Austin Siereveld full go. Talking to players they are really excited to see what the offense looks like with everyone healthy
Eddrick Houston still working hard at keeping the weight on. Birm thinks he's well aware of how people perceive his first two years thinks he's going to be a game wrecker this year. Seems to now be fully bought into being a 300 lb 3 tech.
Says the entire group of TEs was working with Bailey and Arthur Smith was heavily involved too. Lots of good buzz about Mason Williams and how he's transitioned coming over from Ohio.
TJ Alford looks great. Running through the linebacker drills with JL should play a major role this fall.
Mcclain looks significantly bigger upper body. Jacked.
