Happy Monday, Eleven Warriors!
The first waves of NFL Draft projections have begun trickling out from the football media, and it seems the consensus is five Buckeyes will be first-round picks in a couple of months.
So let's keep it simple this morning for This Week's Question: if you could bring back one outgoing Buckeye for next Ohio State football season, who would it be and why?
Caleb Downs is going to be the popular and obvious choice. However, I think a compelling case can be made for Jayden Fielding. You just can't put a price on that kind of veteran presence at kicker.
Kidding aside, Kayden McDonald and Carnell Tate each have interesting cases themselves given the extra value they would provide at their respective position groups within what next year's roster offers. Of course, it's hard to let go of a special player like Downs, whom was ultimately the choice of both Dan Hope and Ramzy Nasrallah. I suppose I will say Tate just to provide some variety among the answers and because last season's offense returning a QB alongside all three of its primary playmakers would be exceptionally dangerous by CFB standards.
But what about you? Who would you bring back for one more season if gifted the gavel of eligibility extension?
