So hear me out on this. Yes, I would take Marvin Harrison Junior in a heartbeat if he somehow inexplicably decided to return to Columbus next season, but in many ways I think this offense would prosper without him.
I think we were too over-reliant on him this year, and with McCord's high-school connection with him, "throw the ball up for Marv and see if he can get it" was our default play call this year.
Without him next year, whoever our QB is will have highly qualified receivers but hopefully the emphasis will be on throwing to the open man, as opposed to "Marv is double-covered but he will probably come down with this somehow."
