Lots of grumbling about the play of Eichenberg and Chambers this season.

Lots of begging for more CJ Hicks.

From what I observe, Eichenberg is often impatient and causes himself to get caught up in blocks near the LOS.  His first step is almost always straight forward. Chambers is more patient and tries to flow to the play.  They certainly aren't in sync with their movements.  Eichenberg also seems to be blitzing more this season from what I remember.  FWIW they are the top 2 tacklers on the team (as they were last season), but Eichenburg is no where near the pace he had last year with 120 tackles and 12.0 TFL (38/1.0 this season) and Chambers is slightly ahead of his pace from last season.

Is this the new Knowles defensive philosophy or something else?
