With the Big Ten announcing the home and away matchups for the next five years for the upcoming 2024-28 football seasons, Ohio State now knows its full slate of games for the 2024-28 seasons. With that announcement last week, I have this for you to contemplate:
This Week's Question: Which Ohio State road game between 2024-28 would you go to if it was an all-expenses-paid trip for the whole weekend?
To help you out, here are the Buckeyes' road games over the next five years:
- 2024: Michigan State, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State
- 2025: Illinois, Michigan, Purdue, Washington, Wisconsin
- 2026: Texas, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, USC
- 2027: Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, Oregon, Rutgers
- 2028: Alabama, Maryland, Illinois, Penn State, UCLA
In a new-look Big Ten, there are plenty of really good answers here, honestly. Even a road game in Ann Arbor would be a solid answer given the recent history in the rivalry. The games in Texas and Alabama would be really tough to disagree with given that it could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch Ohio State play on those two campuses, but I probably have to go with USC completely due to the fact that it's a free trip for the entire weekend. I would not only make sure to spend plenty of (free) money in Los Angeles, but the trip would also include traveling to the Rose Bowl to check out that historic stadium and watching an NFL game in SoFi Stadium as well.
All that said, I'm all for a free trip to an away city to watch the Buckeyes, no matter where it is.
