I love going to opposing team's boards after a big loss. Not to gloat but just to feel their hurt/anger/denial. Again, I don't post; just read. Here's a few gems from Irish Envy:
* MacIrish75: Honestly I’m just sad. I’m 35 and this shit feels the same as it did in 05. Dejected.
* IA4irish: Same song and dance for 30 years. Always the bridesmaid never the bride.
* NDFan8349: Seriously this is the worst I have felt after a loss. Unreal...
* Tussinn: I am dead inside. This is so painful.
* HouseofPain: Literally this is the story of every ND fans life since 88. Cant beat the good teams. Can win the middle and weak teams. Always a let down. Always. Doesnt matter who the coach is. They just roll over to the big boys always. Just sickening.
* Katzenboyer: or my entire life of fandom, ND loses these games. Nothing changed tonight. This program is beta. No playmakers, no swag, just a bunch of cucks. <this is probably my favorite --- this is a man who's had the life sucked out of him>
* Terry Jillery: I’m in that thought process where I’m deciding if I’m too invested in something outside my own control. Perhaps I need a hobby where I have some level of say. How can one love a team and take a loss personally when they don’t do anything besides cheer? I feel like I need to be more of a casual fan and bail from the endless IB and Singer podcasts. Life’s too short. Spend more time with my family and less mindlessly looking at ND stuff. IDK. Just venting. <here's another man ready to give up on life>
* CTIDANDREW: I can accept losing. I'm 31. It's what i've experienced my entire fandom. <poor Irishman never even got to enjoy the Holtz era - he only knows the Davie/Willingham/Jersey Tough era>
* Norcal Irish: 46 years and I’m done…. Take care. <this Domer's lying! He'll be back to watch ND lose to Duke this weekend!>
