How many times did you hear this yesterday? I heard it on ESPN, CBS, & FOX yesterday. Is there a single person who believes this was about player safety? SEC & B1G are breaking records with the amount of money they are shelling out to all these schools via TV contracts. Don’t treat us like we are stupid, it is completely about these new contracts that were signed and now the networks need to have more commercials to pay those hefty fees. Don’t lie to us, just be honest, it makes us NOT believe what you tell us. Oh how would these fragile college football fans react if we were transparent with them? Let’s just lie and say safety, they can’t say ANYTHING about player safety. It’s manipulation and I don’t like it when my wife does it, my kids do it, my elected officials do it, why am I surprised that all the TV channels have a unified front to manipulate the truth. It’s always the people who collect money lying/cheating/stealing from the people who pay it.
