Can't believe we're 1 day away from game 1. Very excited for this year's team, lots of reasons to love the chances of them achieving all the goals: beat ttun, win the b10, make the playoffs and win a natty.
What are some specific things you want to see tomorrow? other than the obvious which is we expect a blow out W.
1. I want our superstars out early. With all the injury issues that plagued last years team to some of our best players last year, I want to see Harrison Jr, Egbuka, Henderson, Williams, at the very least out of the game early assuming we go up big. We have some of the deepest WR and RB rooms in the country, no reason these guys need to be playing more than 2 or 3 quarters.
2. McCord to shine. Kind of an obvious, but I want McCord to look lights out and leave no doubt about Days decision to pick him as QB1. I like Brown a lot and hope he gets his chance too, but the sooner we're 100% settled on QB1 the better for this team.
3. No big plays given up by the D. If we are giving up big plays to Indiana I'm gonna have a real uneasy feeling for this year how we will prevent ND, PSU and ttun from breaking big plays too.
