Now it's time to address the offense. I think this is a different situation than defense, especially since Knowles' system is so new. MY approach here is to have a two deep (at least but some positions warrant more). The first to appear in order is who I believe is #1 at that position.
Realistically, I think that we'll a little more "meaningful minutes" (i.e. when the game is still in doubt, not just garbage time" for offensive guys. Part of this is because less O-linemen will play in meaningful time due to the nature of the position. Yet, we are loaded at RB, TE, and WR...and will run something from 70-80 or so plays a game...so more time to go around for the skill position.
At QB, Day's track record is that once he picks a guy, that guy plays all the meaningful minutes unless injured. Though I do think this year, the backup will get more experience.
Overall, I'd set the number of meaningful minutes for the offense somewhere between 25-27 players, when I had 24 players for the defense.
