Hi all. Something has been making me wonder about additional side effects of NIL that no one seems to be discussing. The current scholarship limit is 85, a standard to which all schools have to align. What's to stop an NIL-wealthy school from loading its roster with tons of 4- and 5-star talent beyond the 85 scholarship by offering them walk-on opportunities combined with big NIL bucks? So, say a great 4-star doesn't quite make it into the 85, but is willing to play for a huge NIL package that let's him pay for his school in a pseudo-scholarship arrangement.
