After a game like this it makes me cherish the championships we do have and has me think back in Doss announcing his improbable return to get his education and compete with his teammates for a national championship.  It would be something to see that type of return again in the future.  The NFL salary continues to rise though but who knows, maybe with NIL you will start to see more of this?

What are others thoughts?  Not saying it will be a regular occurrence on teams but wonder if a big name decides to come back to their school for one more run on a championship contending team in similar or as dramatic fashion as Doss.  Especially since there is (all be lesser than the NFL) a potential compensation to help sweeten it.
