My student tickets were always in the closed end of the horseshoe back in the 1990s, and they were miserable in November. Not only was it cold, but the wind would get in around the temporary stands in the south endzone and whip around the stadium. Being in the north end was like being in a wind tunnel because that's where always hit the worst.
Anyway, I was just thinking about this: Is that still an issue? With the now permanent and enclosed south stands, I would assume not as much wind gets into the horseshoe so the north end zone is not as bad.
Anyway... if you have sat in those stands, especially in November, I'd love to hear what the experience is now compared to when I was in school. Thanks!
