Listen, we are crazy talented and should- SHOULD- be in the title game.

That said, I see some obvious and clear weaknesses both on offense and defense. 

On offense we still telegraph run calls by formation/personnel, as well as by QB and RB lean prior to the snap. We also struggle when Miyan is out. He gets tough yards. Henderson with a gap is unbeatable but in tough situations he is not getting yards. I also think our play calling is weird; lots ot short side sweeps and calls where we have a long route open or CJ is in trouble.

On defense we still struggle versus straight up power running. We CAN stop it- but we often do not and give up first down yards. Our corners are just not great. They can make good plays and are talented, but they are not championship level.

Given that, for me it is clear there are exactly three teams that are perfectly built to beat us. These teams just match up really well against us. They do everything Penn State just did but better.

Georgia

Oregon
