Ok, to preface this, I have not had time to rewatch the game yet.

Ryan Day is an amazing play caller and they always say for every defense there is a play against that scheme. 

It seemed to me on short yardage situations.. 3rd & 2, 3rd &1, Iowa was loading the box. Going into this season, Day stressed that we need to be able to run the ball when the other team knows you are going to run it. And he did... and we lost yardage all game long.

In those same situations we had Marvin and Emeka in man coverage with no deep safeties, because every Hawkeye was close to the line. Two of the best receivers in the country with one person between them and the end zone. Call me crazy, but I like the odds of one of them getting open. Why did we not go play action on one of these sets?
