Many college football pundits, journalists, analysts, and fans share the same opinion; Ohio State and Michigan are unequivocally the two best teams in the Big Ten. There are arguments about which team is better each and every day, especially on the B1G Sports Trash Talk group on Facebook.

UM fans like to bring up how many days it has been since Ohio State has beaten them, counting all of the days between 2019 and to the present day as if Michigan didn't chicken out and use the COVID-19 excuse to avoid an inevitable beatdown in 2020.

Anyway, no matter what your opinion is on which of the two is the best team in the B1G this year, there's no question that they are the two most talented and well-coached teams in the conference. So, who is most likely to beat them before the two of them collide in front of 100,000+ screaming Buckeye fans in Columbus, Ohio on November 26, 2022?

While evaluating their remaining schedule, Michigan State and No.17 Illinois are the biggest threats to beat Michigan before The Game, and No. 13 Penn State and Maryland are the biggest threats to beat Ohio State. 

But let's be honest here. Does anyone really think that either of them will slip up before then? Crazier things have happened in college football, yes, but I don't think that any other team in the B1G is capable of beating the two powerhouses. However, I do think that both teams are capable of beating themselves.

As the two best teams in the conference, the best chance of them losing before their late November showdown versus one another is if they beat themselves. They must play mistake-free football without shooting themselves in the foot and simply handle their business. 

As of now, it looks like the two bitter rivals are on an undefeated collision course which will settle itself in The Shoe on November 26th. It should be a hell of a game!
