If/When the Big Ten does away with the divisional format, the top 2 Big Ten teams in the standings will play for the title every year, a la the Big 12. I feel like in most years, this will end up probably being the Buckeyes and That Team Up North, unless USC and UCLA can crash the party.
Would you be fine with a potential shifting of the time of the Game to avoid them playing back-to-back? Personally as much as I love that being the final game of the regular season I don't think my heart could handle it if they played twice in a row. I wouldn't hate to see it move up to Mid-October sort of like the Red River Rivalry, or Tennessee/Bama, and if they meet again in December, they meet again in December. Just my personal opinion. (I'm well aware this will be unpopular, I'm just thinking out loud)
