There was a thread about having the best DE duo. I honestly think we have a shot at having the best CB duo in the country in 2022 if Cam Brown stays healthy.

From what I saw out of Cam Brown while healthy in 2021 in combination with Denzel Burke having a year of exp.. I believe we have an argument for having the best CB tandem in the nation for 2022. Our defense was largely a mess in 2021 and poor play at nearly every position had to have made life tougher for Denzel Burke and Cam Brown(when healthy).

I think we’re going to see both better safety play and a better pass rush in 2022 which should help these 2 out.

I personally think Cam Brown is a very good CB when healthy and he supposedly runs high 4.2 low 4.3 in the 40. Denzel Burke had a great overall freshman season and looks like the next great OSU corner. 
 

My only concern is Browns inability to stay healthy. I think if he stays healthy he will have an all American type season along with Burke… and will go tear up the combine and be a 1st rounder.. again.. if he stays healthy.

I think Burke is almost a sure fire 2024 top 15 pick if he stays healthy the next 2 seasons.

I’d say I’m very optimistic on Brown but I think he’s been very good when healthy.

I’m thinking this duo has potential to be as good as 2021 Cincy’s Gardner Bryant duo
