A question for the collective (now that we are, officially, in the Spring doldrums of sports)...
What is the most exciting single quarter of Ohio State Football ever? A few suggestions to get the discussion started:
1) 4th Quarter of OSU-PSU 2017. Buckeyes outscore Penn State 19-3. JT Barrett is perfect throwing the football.
2) 2nd quarter of OSU-CLEM 2020. Justin Fields and and company outscore Clemson 21-0 en route to a 49-28 pasting of the Tigers.
3) 4th Quarter of OSU-Utah 2022. CJ Stroud throws for 198 yards to cap a huge comeback.
4) 3rd quarter of OSU-MICH 2018. A blocked punt by Olave returned for a touchdown and an interception as Michigan was outscored 17-0 to end up losing 62-39.
5) 3rd quarter of OSU-ILL 1995. Eddie George rushes for 2 touchdowns and catches another as the Buckeyes outscore the Illini 21-3. This game (against the two best defensive ends in the country, Kevin Hardy and Simeon Rice) cemented George's Heisman.
Not sure if I am suffering from recency bias. What am I missing?
