So I think Woody is the obvious choice, BUT, he's got a pretty incredible athletic complex that bares his name, so let's exclude coach Hayes for this one.
We know the Buckeyes play in Ohio Stadium, but there's not a namesake for the actual field turf/playing surface, that I'm aware of.
If you got to choose who to name it after, who would it be?
I think Chic Harley, and Archie Griffin are the two names that leap out at me the fastest.
Paul Brown is another possibility but he's got a whole stadium named after him in Cincinnati.
I think Eddie George and Hop Cassidy also would be in contention... Maybe even Vic Janowicz just to force folks who aren't familiar with the Buckeyes to learn to pronounce his last name...
