2017 Season: TOSU -24, USC - 7 (Beat the PAC-12 champs in the Cotton Bowl.)

2018 Season: TOSU - 28, Washington - 23 (Beat the PAC-12 champs in the Rose Bowl.)

2021 Season: TOSU - 48, Utah - 45 (Beat the PAC-12 champs in the Rose Bowl.)

In those seasons TOSU doesn't get into the CFP, they get to beat the PAC-12 champion in some major, New Year's Day Bowl game. Not bad.
