Stogner will be joined in Columbia by former Oklahoma teammate Spencer Rattler, who also announced his commitment to South Carolina on Monday night. The Gamecocks are coached by Shane Beamer, who was previously the assistant head coach and tight ends coach at Oklahoma from 2018-20.
Stogner is one of just two players who Ohio State is known to be currently pursuing in the transfer portal along with Florida International offensive tackle Miles Frazier, who included the Buckeyes as one of his top three schools on Monday night along with Florida State and LSU.
