With the defense now in good hands with Jim Knowles coming in, I feel the defense will be much improved, not top 5 next season but definitely could be a top 30 defense, which would be enough to win a national title, unless the other issue we had all year doesn't get corrected.

The issue that has been forgotten about is red zone offense. Numerous times this past year we have failed to get into the end zone when inside of the 20. Unless this issue is corrected, this issue could haunt us next season and prevent us from reaching the peak. My thoughts are because we didn't have 2 traditional guards on the offensive line this may have hampered our ability to convert in the red zone. Just like our inability cost us in 2019 when we had to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns in the fiesta bowl.
