Let me start out admitting my six decades of bias: I want to see TTUN lose to Georgia.

But naturally I can’t stand the SEC as well due, in large part, to its constant claims of clear superiority to the B1G.

So…with that background, I was wondering if the following might be the best outcome in the upcoming CFP: TTUN dominates Georgia for almost 60 minutes but can’t pull away due to careless turnovers in the red zone.  But TTUN still holds the lead in the waning moments when…a repeat of the blocked punt return for a TD that happened against Michigan State in 2015 takes place in almost identical fashion (carrying Georgia to victory on the game’s final play).

And then Georgia decisively beats Bama in the championship game.  

In this scenario, we could rightfully argue that a B1G team should have won the national title but gift-wrapped it to Georgia. And, as icing on the cake,  think of the what-ifs that would haunt Harbaugh for the rest of his life. There might be an upside for him though: it might tone down his arrogance.

Is there any other scenario that would better suit Ohio State, in particular, and the B1G in general?  And, I’m sorry, but I can’t accept TTUN crushing Georgia and Bama by 4 touchdowns each as the answer to this.
