Can someone point me in the right direction on this one? I remember JT and Jalin Marshall/Dontre Wilson running this play to death in the Meyer era. The announcers always called it a “pop pass” and it used to be counted as a forward pass because of the way they’d come in front of JT on the jet sweep and it wasn’t a direct handoff. Has this type of exchange been officially reclassified as a rush?
