After the awesome performance we enjoyed last night (and the past few games), I got to thinking: are there certain schemes and/or plays that we expect Day and company to be saving for the more challenging back stretch of games?
For example, Stroud hasn’t really needed to do many designed QB runs, but this could be one that is being saved for more frequent use in tighter/bigger games. I would’ve said more TE usage, but Ruckert gave that away last night. :)
Our offense is so elite that maybe we keep doing what’s working…but I also know Day is very creative and undoubtedly has a few tricks up his sleeve, when needed.
What say you, 11Wers?
