After we gave up our customary first drive touchdown the defense gave up 53 total yards the rest of the game. How much is that defense improvement vs playing against a quarterback who can't throw a pass?
We know the offense can score on anyone and I believe would still score over 40 on Georgia, would score 50+ on Bama, and would need an additional digit added for Joklahoma and Cinci, but we still don't know how much defensive improvement has actually taken place.
