If you take a look at LSU 2019 championship season, they started the season with a very bad defense (it was ranked in the 90), but finished the season undefeated with:

• Total offense: 1
• Total Defense: 31

OSU currently ranked number one in total Offense:

• Scoring Offense:4th
• Rushing Offense: 22nd
• Passing Offense: 8th
• Total Offense: 1st

But the defense is really bad, we started as one of the worst in CFB, and saw some improvement the last couple weeks, where we moved up 32 spots in total defense after the Tulsa game (Total Defense: 118)

• Scoring Defense: 42nd (Up 25)
• Rushing Defense: 79th (Up 3)
• Passing Defense: 98th (Up 4)
• Total Defense: 84th (Up 5)

I think we need the total defense to be ranked in the top 30 to have a realistic chance
