However, the defensive line was getting after the quarterback, the linebackers played.......better?!?! And the defensive backs were flying around breaking up passes and getting picks. Sure there were a few drops by Akron and they gave up the early TD, but after that it was shut down. While not perfect it's the best defensive game that I've seen since 2019. Hopefully they are moving in the right direction and can continue to build on this game
