Added some meaning to the title. To simplify my original post, most of the defensive roster has seen some kind of playing time this season. At a position that seems to be a revolving door does anyone have real insight as to why Carrico has not been on the field in any capacity so far? There was an article on a different site in July that talked about him being able to provide depth right away at a position that has not been up to Ohio State standards in recent seasons. 7 of the 9 linebackers on the roster had at least one snap against Tulsa.
With all the issues on defense and linebacker being a major contributor is anyone else surprised Reid Carrico hasn't found a way onto the field yet. The last mention of him is when he lost his black stripe in April. With the depth at LB I thought he would at least see the field on special teams. Any news on him at all?
