After seeing Tulsa's HC discuss the lack of noise today and the fact that we had the lowest attendance in 50 years, I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on why our attendance sucks. I understand face value of tickets are high, but the secondary market had tickets for today's game at well below face value. Even Oregon tickets were selling below face value. I can only imagine what next week's tickets will be. I've already been offered 4 tickets for free. But ticket prices are only one factor.
For those of you in Columbus (or near) who don't go to the games, is there a particular reason? I am watching PSU tonight and TTUN last week and amazed that we can't get that atmosphere. I understand today and next week are lesser opponents, but I remember growing up and these lesser games were still packed. If tickets dropped in price by 25%, would that entice you to go? In two home games, I'm amazed at how many empty seats there have been. When I was a kid I felt like it was like pulling teeth to get tickets.
Really want to see the Shoe get packed and be a threat to visitors like I'm watching PSU fans do to Auburn.
