I don't think there will be a post specifically about this, or maybe there will be if this topic has enough traction, but what are everyone's observations/thoughts on the D-line performance against Minnesota?

I was admittedly distracted by a poorly timed fantasy football draft that started at 8pm as well (clearly not controlled by OSU fans) but I thought they were good but not great. I could have missed smaller details that others saw who were focused solely on the game. Minnesota did game plan around the pass rush with quick passes and relied on the running game which gave our edge rushes fewer attempts to get to the QB on true drop backs. I would love to see a stat around how many times Morgan dropped back for passes that took longer than 1 second to get out.

We had 2 sacks (including Harrison's strip sack/TD), 4 TFL (not just DL), and 1 QB hurry.

The Minnesota O-line is probably one of the best we'll see all year and certainly the largest and most experienced. But even with that we didn't have an all-star playmaker appear. We didn't live in the backfield as much as I would have liked but that could be a result of a number of factors: scheme, game plan, and Minny just being plain good on their line. 

Nothing really stood out as exceptionally good or worryingly bad. It was a good effort but nothing that would strike fear into a team like Alabama.

Like I said, my attention was unfortunately divided for a lot of the game so would love to hear what everyone else thought of this unit's performance.
