Its time that they just make 1 giant conference with divisions and do an 8 team playoff. 

Its silly to have about 7 of the top 10 programs in 1 conference then do conference champions for the playoff.  You will have half the top 10 teams sitting out of the playoffs every year.

Either 64 teams or 80 with 4 divisions, division championship game quarterfinals with the 2 best records in each division then the 4 winners play.
