My vote goes to Craig Krenzel. Buckeyes had gone 34 years without a NC. I was beginning to think I would never see another one until 2002 happened. He was viewed as a "game manager", which he was. Well, he "managed" to throw one of the most clutch passes you will ever see to keep their hopes alive against Purdue and "managed" his team to a win versus one of the most talented college teams ever assembled. He went 24-2 as a starter. Clarett and that awesome D is what is remembered and that is obviously deserved, but his name is almost never mentioned as a great Buckeye QB. That's wrong IMHO.
