If anyone has ever listened to Huberman Lab Podcast then you know it is a very informative and well thought out production. That being said, this particular episode is rich in its potential impact for sports and athletic training.

TLDR;
To summarize, everyone of us has unique blood vessels in our hands, feet, and face that allows us to dump heat more effectively than anywhere else in the body.
Researchers at Stanford have figured out a device that taps into this cooling method to recharge athletes during intense training allowing them to recover faster and increase their work loads. Thus, increasing strength and explosion that they otherwise would not have been able to.

The episode is fascinating and with NFL teams and the military already incorporating it I am hopeful Ohio State will get on the ball and start utilizing this technology sooner than later. (if they haven't already)
Here is a quick Youtube video of the device and if anyone has connections to Coach Mick get this info to him ASAP :)
