Nick Vannett is back on the free-agent market after just one year with the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos released the former Ohio State tight end on Tuesday, according to 9News' Mike Klis.

In his lone season with the Broncos, Vannett caught 14 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown. As has been the case since his days at Ohio State and throughout his NFL career, in which he's also played for the Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers, Vannett functioned primarily as a blocker in the Broncos' offense.
Ultimately, however, the Broncos opted for nearly $2.7 million in cap savings rather than keeping Vannett for the 2021 season, leaving Vannett to find a new team to continue his NFL career.
