I couldn't find any recent topics comparing specifically how SEC, even Alabama fans want to act like Florida, the second best team in the conference, didn't get absolutely destroyed by Oklahoma (they had a garbage time td and still lost by five tuddies) simply because they had this X receivers opt out, and a handful defensive players is an excuse to give up 55 points to Oklahoma. They will literally argue this right now go ask them.

Meanwhile compare this to Ohio State. We are moving forward. It seems pretty obvious we have at least a few key guys out as we continue to March towards the Natty. Yet are we acting like Dan Mullen did and pretending like this game doesn't matter? We have never done that. We easily could have pulled what LSU did this year and banned ourselves from a crap bowl in 2011 and we know what Alabama and the SEC benefitted from that. They won't acknowledge it though.
