As Ohio State fans, we’ve experienced plenty of high stakes match-ups throughout the years. We’ve been underdogs, we’ve been trash-talked, we’ve been upset, we’ve participated in the greatest rivalry in all of sports, but have you ever wanted to win a game more than you want to win this year’s playoff semi-final.

To me, as a younger buckeye, it’s close. In the past 5 years alone, 2018 Michigan is up there, 2014 Alabama is high, 2019 Clemson and 2016 Michigan are the games where I desperately wanted to win. But after all the talk by the coaches and fans of almost every team in America bashing us, I don’t know if I’ve ever wanted to win a game as bad as I do on January 1.
