So it sounds like everything is taken care of for the title game.
BUT... I really believe Ohio State & the B1G should still be desperately looking for another opponent for this weekend for three very good reasons: 1) to help the conference save face and quell the cries of favoritism; 2) to make it a clearer decision for the Playoff Committee; BUT most of all, 3) to get a young team with some clear holes live game reps.
I really don't like this team going into a matchup with an Alabama or Clemson, that has had ample time to iron out their issues and develop their younger players. It could be ugly, and that only fuels the haters who are going to say it should've been Florida, A&M, etc.
Neither the 2002 or 2014 titles would've happened without the full season to develop. Heck, Chris Gamble began the season as a receiver, and became an all-conference corner, covering Andre Johnson in the title game.
Long way of saying: It's Wednesday afternoon. At what point can we assume it's too late to add a game and that it's not happening?
