The following is a crazy-stupid idea; but how about we play TAMU during 12/19? It would be a “postseason game.” (Sidestep/modify the no non conference game in season rule)  It would be a defacto play in game. (IU and NW would play in Indy on same day)

perhaps TAMU would be chomping at the bit to prove  that they are a playoff contender. It would also give a couple more days to work something out...
