Some of the biggest lies I have heard in my lifetime:
“Put down that frog or you will get warts.”
“You need to take advanced algebra to succeed in life.”
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.”
“Saddam is hiding weapons of mass destruction.”
“If you like your plan, you can keep your plan.”
"Dr. Drake has your messages and will call you back in a few days."
“This new Coke is better than the old one.”
And now this line in a letter today from new Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren: “The vote by the Big Ten Council of Presidents and Chancellors (COP/C) was overwhelmingly in support of postponing fall sports … “
That simple sentence contained up to three lies. There was no vote taken, there was no “overwhelming support” and how exactly do you postpone “fall sports” of 2020 to the spring of 2021 and still call it “postpone?"
The Big Ten is an unmitigated train-wreck these days, every bit as transparent as a brick wall. Its schools and many of the top-level employees who work for them are hiding from the truth each day in order to supposedly toe the company line as this debacle has unfolded. And others are telling outright lies to the media only to cover their own backsides.

I agree with this, but he needs to address the claim about his earlier report given the shifting ground.
