Big debate going on in my group chat right now. Initially, reading that question at face value, I would have said no. Scandal is never a good thing. But looking at it as a catalyst, there are some interesting points coming up in the chat. I do not think Tressell would have won another title because I feel the game had passed him. With that being said, if someone asked you in 2011 "Would you trade a non-criminal scandal resulting in a season of vacated wins, a few scholarship cuts and a 1 year bowl ban for arguably the best coach in college football, another championship, a 5 year run of wins over TTUN and a 5 year run of top 10 recruiting classes", would you have said yes?
