This might make you sympathize with Michigan Wolverines fans, if only for a second

but then again we here at 11W might be partially responsible for some of the poll results. Let's start over at the beginning, shall we?

So I'm doing my daily web crawl for all thing tOSU and what pops up on Yahoo but this lovely piece of prose I'm sharing with you right at this moment. Here's how it starts:

We polled college football fans for their most beloved games of the 21st century. The resulting top 25 is over here, with videos for each. Everybody likes it, except for those arguing for a switch of No. 1 and No. 2 and those who are displeased about the exclusion of LSU 9, Bama 6 (I stand with these people) and the 2012 SEC title game (these as well).

So I've provided the same link they have in the article for the top 25 but let me break it down right here for those who are less likely tho follow the link. However; if you want the video that accompanies this list, you'll have to click the link and damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!

25. 2007 Arkansas 50, LSU 48 (3OT)

24. 2002 LSU 33, Kentucky 30

23. 2007 Stanford 24, USC 23

22. 2015 Sugar Bowl: Ohio State 42, Alabama 35

21. 2015 Michigan State 27, Michigan 23

20. 2012 Texas A&M 29, Alabama 24

19. 2013 season's BCS Championship: Florida State 34, Auburn 31

18. 2016 Ohio State 30, Michigan 27 (OT)

17. 2016 Alamo Bowl: TCU 47, Oregon 41 (3OT)

16. 2006 Ohio State 42, Michigan 39

15. 2014 Baylor 61, TCU 58

14. 2003 Arkansas 71, Kentucky 63 (7OT)

13. 2005 Rose Bowl: Texas 38, Michigan 37

12. 2001 Arkansas 58, Ole Miss 56 (7OT)

11. 2015 season's National Championship: Alabama 45, Clemson 40

10. 2010 Auburn 28, Alabama 27

9. 2008 Texas Tech 39, Texas 33

8. 2005 USC 34, Notre Dame 31

7. 2017 Rose Bowl: USC 52, Penn State 49

6. 2003 Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State 31, Miami 24 (2OT)

5. 2007 Appalachian State 34, Michigan 32

4. 2013 Auburn 34, Alabama 28

3. 2016 season's National Championship: Clemson 35, Alabama 31

2. 2006 Rose Bowl: Texas 41, USC 38

1. 2007 Fiesta Bowl: Boise State 43, Oklahoma 42 (OT)

I think most of us would agree there are some fine college football games in that list, some perhaps more intriguing than others but did you notice a theme to many of these games?

One group of people who are unhappy, albeit resigned to their fates: Michigan fans. Look at this:

No. 21: 2015 Michigan State 27, Michigan 23
No. 18: 2016 Ohio State 30, Michigan 27 (OT)
No. 16: 2006 Ohio State 42, Michigan 39
No. 13: 2005 Rose Bowl: Texas 38, Michigan 37
No. 5: 2007 Appalachian State 34, Michigan 32

I know, it's glorious right?! Wait, it's about to get just a little sweeter if you're a fan of tOSU:

Imagine having to watch your team lose 23 percent of the 21 greatest games of the millennium. This is brutal. It gets worse.

No. 22: 2015 Sugar Bowl: Ohio State 42, Alabama 35
No. 18: Ohio State beating Michigan
No. 16: Ohio State beating Michigan
No. 6: 2003 Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State 31, Miami 24 (2OT)

A full 31 percent of the 22 greatest games since 2000 involve Ohio State and/or Michigan, and every single one of them goes against the Wolverines.

No need to adjust your headset, you're seeing (and hearing this) correctly.

Michigan just can't seem to win the big game... shoot, they loose plenty of non-marquee match ups as well (looking at you App State) but the ones that mean the most tend to hurt the worst.

Here's to a smile on your Tuesday morning and a tear in the beer of those that root for ttun!!

Who's got it better than us they ask, sounds like damn near everyone when they're playing against you know who?!?

Since you read all the way to the bottom of the post, here's your link for the original article.
