This post isn't so much a statement, as really putting out feelers to see what everyone's opinion is on the matter as far as the Buckeye LB corps this year, and their pro prospects in 2018.
Obviously we know Jerome Baker is on every draft pundit's radar as a potential first round pick.
I think Worley showed a lot of ability and flashes last year to be a potential 2nd-3rd round pick. If he comes out this year and shows it wasn't just a single year of success, and shows he can play the MIKE as well as OLB as he did last year, that versatility is something that NFL DC's covet.
Booker obviously is the man on the outside of the equation at the moment, and that's mainly because we haven't seen a big enough sample size on the field to know what he's capable of. He does have prototypical NFL size, and we've seen flashes of his athleticism, and that seems to be on the level. If he comes out and plays well, he could work himself into the conversation as a day two pick as well.
Obviously all conjecture, and just for discussion, but if Booker plays up to potential, the Buckeyes could be sending DBs and LBs a plenty to the first few rounds of the draft next year.
