A total of six Ohio State football players received watch list nominations on Thursday, when preseason nominees for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and the Outland Trophy were announced.

Buckeyes linebacker Jerome Baker and defensive ends Nick Bosa, Sam Hubbard and Tyquan Lewis were all named as four of 103 total nominees for the Nagurski Trophy, which honors the best defensive player in college football. James Laurinaitis (2006) is Ohio State's only previous recipient of the award.

Baker, Bosa and Lewis were all previously selected to the watch list for the Bednarik Award, which also honors college football's best defensive player.

Ohio State left tackle Jamarco Jones and center Billy Price were named Thursday as two of 81 total nominees for the Outland Trophy, which honors the best offensive or defensive interior lineman in college football. Ohio State has four previous winners of the Outland Trophy: Orlando Pace (1996), John Hicks (1973), Jim Stillwagon (1970) and Jim Parker (1956).

Price was previously named to the watch list for the Rimington Award, which honors college football's best center.
