I saw an article on ESPN.com entitled, "Who has the most to prove on each Top 25 team?"
For Ohio State, it was Damon Arnette: "August will be important for redshirt sophomore Damon Arnette, who has a slight edge in the competition to replace one of the two Buckeyes cornerbacks selected in the first round of the NFL draft. If Arnette and Denzel Ward can help Ohio State's secondary remain a strength, the defense will be in good shape in 2017. They'll get a stiff test right out of the gates against two strong receivers from Indiana."
I can see Arnette being a big question mark. I could also see Damon Webb as the only returning DB starter and presumptive leader and stabilizing force of a young secondary. Or Dante Booker, who was the starter ahead of Jerome Baker, who proved to be a dynamic playmaker on defense. Or Tracy Sprinkle, Marcus Baugh, Isaiah Prince, any of the WRs, even seasoned vets like Barrett and Price as the OL's new leader and anchor. Or Ryan Day and/or Kevin Wilson as new faces on the coaching staff (the ESPN article names Florida State OL coach Rick Trickett as the Seminole with the most to prove). So while Ohio State has a lot of returning starters and an abundance of riches, the Buckeyes are not without Achilles heels.
I'm curious who everyone else thinks is the one guy with the most to prove going into fall camp?
