Ezekiel Elliott in my opinion is the best running back I have ever witnessed put on the scarlet and gray colors. However, I wonder if having such a player to lean on can have its negatives as well. The good thing is that in having such a player the caliber of Elliott, is that when things get rough he can put the whole team on his back and deliver a victory. The negative is that a player of the caliber can at times be taken for granted as was in the case of the Clemson and two Spartan losses. When a player is taken for granted he becomes a crutch instead of an integral part of the team. I believe this year that without the crutch that is Ezekiel Elliott that the coaching staff will be forced to be more imaginative which will lead to a very explosive offense in 2016.
