I was pondering this weekend/early week and it crossed my mind this idea... Is it possible that JT was maybe just not fully healthy and that contributed to a lot of this? In the beginning he was in sparingly and looked bad, maybe he wasn't comfortable planting in a game yet? (Jitters?) Then they put him in with designed/game plan of the red zone action, he was able to mentally prepare, which plays to his strong suit. Saturday started out the same, but then he started to take over, and it started feeling really familiar again to last year. Is it just possible the limited reps/exposures were him regaining a comfort and trust with his body? Just an idea that crossed my head, wonder if anyone else came through this way.
