First off, my first experience at The Horseshoe was awesome, and I can't wait to get back. The Boo-Birds against anyone on our team can eat sh!t. Now on to my topic.
I noticed during the second half once JT was inserted into the game that Penn State was essentially selling out on the run, but obviously OSU was still effective. They were bringing everyone into the box and leaving their CB's on an island. In particular, I noticed the CB guarding Jalin was giving a 10+ yard cushion with the next closest defender inside the hashes. Why not take advantage of this and do a 1 to 3 step drop and a quick pass to Jalin standing in the flat? This would put him one on one with a defender 10 yards away, and even if he doesn't get around the CB, OSU should still gain 5 yards with the cushion that the CB is giving up.
